We got information that YouTube Temporarily Banned Some Cryptocurrency channels over their breach in company policy.
This is not the first time that some cryptocurrency enthusiasts are getting strikes for policy violation. The good news is that YouTube themself sometimes acknowledge that their algorithms sometimes make wrong calls.
Getting strikes from youtube means that the affected accounts might not be able to upload their works, Livestream or stories. this normally lasts for a certain specified period of time.
Ivan on Tech which is one of the last victims have up to 216000 active subscribers. His account has been restored but he made it clear that he will be streaming from his website since he has been given strikes repeatedly.
Recall that in late December last year (2019), a lot of crypto-related videos were deleted from the YouTube platform. The firm in an interview with Coindesk said it was a mistake.
We hope we don’t get to hear more of “YouTube Temporarily Banned crypto-related” account again.
