Hedera Hashgraph launches the fastest blockchain
The Hedera Hashgraph blockchain has been launched. The long-awaited network promises greater transaction speeds than all other blockchains in the market and is supported by several large companies. This appeared from a press release published on September 16.

The blockchain ‘s mainnet is now in the open beta phase, which means that it is accessible to everyone. The network is launching 26 decentralized apps (dApps) and hundreds of developers are already developing more dApps.
The Hedera Hashgraph network is said to be able to handle 10,000 transactions per second (TPS), making it the fastest blockchain currently on the market. For example, the blockchains of bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH) can only handle 7 and 15 TPS for clarification. In addition, Hashgraph also supports smart contracts, and a file and consensus service.

Hedera has also started issuing the native HBAR tokens. A total of 50 billion tokens will be issued. The first 379 million HBAR tokens will go to the investors who participated in the crowd sale last year. $124 million was raised in three rounds that took place between March and August 2018.
The rest of the tokens will be issued over 15 years. Initially, they will be sold on 14 cryptocurrency exchanges including Bittrex, Galaxy Digital, Liquid, OKEx, Upbit and OkCoin.
Hedera’s board of directors includes gigantic companies such as IBM, Boeing, Deutsche Telekom, Nomura and FIS Global. They all manage their node via the blockchain.
