A researched as been published by Block Genesis which shows that the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector saw approximately $3.7B in investments across 741 different deals in 2019.

The study, however, showed that the majority of the deals during the year were carried out in North America, Asia, and Europe.

North America saw a total of 324 deals and attracted about two billion dollars.

Asia was able to close about 88 deals and attracted about 0.8 Billion dollars in investment.

Europe saw more deals than Asia but attracted lesser money. Europe saw a total of 154 deals and attracted about 0.7 billion dollars.

Oceania came fourth with 6 deals.

Africa was not left out as they were able to attract 5 deals.

South America also got 5 deals but attracted a lesser amount than Africa.

we can safely conclude that North America, Asia, and Europe represented about 99% of the total number of investment deals in the Blockchain And Cryptocurrency sector.
